Theme issues

On the drupal site there are many themes you can download and install under the sites/all/themes directory. Note that block settings and some visibility settings are saved on a theme basis, so you may need to re-enable blocks or items like the site slogan and the search box, when you switch over to a new theme. Some themes like Pixture have color settings which are saved under the files directory, together with a copy of the original stylesheets. These themes use the copied stylesheets under the files directory instead of the originals under the theme directory. So if you modify the original stylesheet of such a theme, you may have to save the theme settings in order to see the effect. Saving the theme settings will cause the theme to copy your modified stylesheet from the theme directory to the files directory.
